Fragments 2.0: The Remixes

The second instalment of the fragments series.

Embassy 9 Recordings returns this winter with Fragments 2.0, the sequel to last year’s acclaimed remix project. The new compilation brings together an international lineup of artists reworking tracks from NBC9’s dystopian concept album State of Control, released September 19, 2025.

The original album unfolded as a dark journey through modern power structures, exposing the influence of global elites, shadow networks, and the systems that bind us. Fragments 2.0 takes that narrative deeper, with each guest producer refracting NBC9’s vision through their own sound.

Fragments 2.0 follows in the footsteps of the first Fragments project, which featured Exile, YASUKI, AGRO, Irontype, Xtinctor, JRACE + Albert White, and Lunatronic. The formula remains the same: uniting diverse producers under one vision, and giving each track the promotion and visibility it deserves.

NBC9, formerly known as Influenza in the early 2000s Vancouver breakbeat scene, has made it clear this project is not about chasing fame or chart numbers. It’s about collaboration, creativity, and delivering something listeners can immerse themselves in.

The release is set for Christmas 2025 on Embassy 9 Recordings, with individual tracks promoted across platforms in the run-up to launch.
